The fourth round of environmental inspection by the central government will end in September 11th, aiming at provinces including Jilin, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hainan, Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai and Xinjiang.

Nationwide safety inspections will be carried out through September by 31 comprehensive inspection teams from the Safe Production Committee of the State Council.

Unlicensed enterprises will be punished or prohibited from Oct 1st on. These enterprises must ensure all certificates and equipment ready within Sept in terms ofregistration, project approval, land planning, environmental impact assessment, fire control.

Since July, due to the RMB exchange rate against the dollar exceeding 6.8, 6.7, 6.6, foreign trade enterprises have to tackle declining competitiveness of their exports.
